Privacy and your information
Updated October 28, 2026. GeneDai Match is an independent service for mutual introductions, for adults aged 18 and over.
One account, separate cards
Each email address corresponds to one account. Funding, careers, business, coffee chats and relationships use separate cards and matching criteria. Professional scenarios do not accept age, gender or relationship preferences; relationship preferences apply only to dating. Cards begin as private drafts. Editing pauses discovery and clears the previous sharing selection.
What other people can see
Before publishing, you select the fields to share and confirm. A basic card includes your display name, headline, cities, topics, offer and needs. Other fields are optional. Role, scenario and compatibility reasons are also shown. Relationship preferences and your full availability are not displayed, though compatible conditions and overlapping time slots may be shown. A reason may reveal that a condition is compatible without exposing a hidden value.
Each connection is tied to specific scenario cards. Accepting an introduction does not mean agreeing to meet or sharing contact details. Photos can be shared only in dating connections, with the photo owner's permission. Contact details appear only after both people separately consent. Revoking stops further display but cannot erase information the other person has already saved.
Conversations, agents and AI
“Your conversation” sends messages to someone whose introduction has been accepted. The private AI assistant offers coordination advice without impersonating them. Cloudflare Workers AI processes AI requests, including relevant personal context and recent private messages. AI output can be inaccurate and does not constitute a booking, job offer or investment commitment.
Connecting your own agent requires your authorization. It can read your private cards and contact information, edit drafts, discover matches and draft plans. It cannot publish or consent for you, or read or write your direct messages with another person. You can revoke its access in account settings.
Prepare a card by voice or text
The optional voice card assistant uses ElevenLabs to process speech and conversation. It connects only when you press start, and requests microphone access only in voice mode. It receives this conversation and relevant content from the current card, excluding account email, contact details, photos, other scenario cards and connection records. Text mode does not capture microphone audio.
We have disabled recording storage for this assistant, set transcript retention to 0 days and enabled transcript deletion. The provider performs scheduled deletion; this is not enterprise “zero retention.” We do not store audio or full transcripts in this site's D1 or R2. Unsaved drafts stay only on the current page and are lost on refresh or close. Saving and publishing still require separate confirmation from you.
You can mute, end the conversation or switch to manual editing at any time. Muting does not disconnect; “End and review draft” ends the session. Sessions last up to 3 minutes, with up to 10 starts per account per day. Manual editing remains available if the service quota is exhausted. Speech recognition and drafting can make mistakes. Check amounts, currencies, ages and preferences carefully.
Storage and service providers
The service runs on Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2, Workers AI and Email Sending. Email addresses and contact details are encrypted with an application key. Session tokens are hashed. Cards, messages and permissions are stored in an access-controlled database; photos are in private object storage. This is not end-to-end encrypted chat. Do not submit identity documents, banking information, trade secrets or unnecessary sensitive material.
Verification codes last 10 minutes; browser sessions last 30 days. OAuth access tokens last 1 hour and refresh tokens up to 30 days. Manual agent connections last 90 days. Expired verification codes, authorization codes and rate-limit records are regularly removed. User information and messages remain until the relevant card or account is deleted.
Your controls
You can pause one or all cards, skip candidates, revoke sharing, end connections, block or report people, export your data or delete your account. Deleting a card removes its connections, messages, plans and permissions. Deleting your account removes your information, photos, connections and credentials. The platform cannot retrieve content someone else has already seen or saved.
Email notifications are off by default and limited to 5 per day when enabled. Verification emails are used only for sign-in and do not subscribe you to notifications. The service currently has no advertising tracking or marketing email subscription.
Matching and identity
Matches use self-reported information and bilateral rules. They do not verify identities, investment credentials, job authenticity or personal character, and do not guarantee a partnership. Amounts only indicate whether the submitted ranges overlap. The service does not transfer money, apply, book or make decisions for anyone. Choose an appropriate public place for an in-person meeting.
Feedback and concerns
Connection pages include blocking and reporting. Reports enter an operations record; submitting one does not mean it has been investigated or resolved. You can use the same form for privacy or data issues. Block the person as well if you need to stop contact immediately.
Manage my account ↗Personal agents and coordination records
Your personal agent accesses Match through an MCP or local connection you authorize. Your private conversation stays in your original client. Match does not automatically import entire chats, memories or calendars. Accepted connections can have shared coordination records, readable by both people and their authorized agents. Messages are labeled as agent messages and do not replace explicit confirmation of plans or sharing. Only ask your agent to send information you are willing for the other person to see.
Checking tasks does not keep your agent running in the background. Blocking or ending a connection stops further access to coordination messages. Your data export includes coordination messages you sent, and account deletion removes related records.
